Farnham's specialist in positive reinforcement training. From bouncy puppies to dogs with complex behaviours. Personalised, science-backed sessions in your own home.
3 or 4 session puppy foundations programme, with a follow-up call one month later. Perfect for new puppy owners in Farnham and the surrounding villages.
No force. No fear. Just results. Here's what the science and your dog's behaviour tell us.
When dogs associate good behaviour with rewards, those neural pathways strengthen. The result? Reliable commands that hold, even around distractions on Farnham's busy streets or open countryside.
Force-free training lowers cortisol levels and helps anxious or reactive dogs feel safe. Calm dogs make better decisions and are far more enjoyable to live with.
Training is communication. When your dog trusts you as their guide, not their disciplinarian, you build a partnership that lasts their whole life.
Decades of animal behaviour research confirms positive reinforcement outperforms aversive methods, with no side effects of fear, shutdown, or aggression.
Every session is built around your dog's personality, your goals, and your lifestyle. No cookie-cutter programmes here.

Positive Dog Trainer · Farnham
Nikki's love of dogs began in childhood and never really stopped. After earning her degree in Animal Management and Welfare from Harper Adams University, she built her career by doing: running dog walking rounds in South West London, managing a dog daycare, and volunteering at Battersea Cats and Dogs Home and assistance dog organisations.
It was through the daily reality of working with dozens of different dogs that Nikki discovered her true calling: training. Watching a nervous rescue dog finally relax, or a boisterous puppy learn that calm behaviour gets the best rewards. These moments never get old.
"Good choices get rewarded. Not-so-good choices get ignored. It sounds simple, and in practice, it is beautifully effective."
Having recently relocated from London to Farnham, Nikki is thrilled to be part of this community. She knows the local parks, the Devil's Punch Bowl at Hindhead, the footpaths along the River Wey, Frensham Ponds, and the Surrey Hills walks that make this corner of Surrey and Hampshire such a special place to be a dog owner. Whether you are in Farnham, Godalming, Haslemere, Alton, Bordon, Liphook or any of the surrounding villages, Nikki comes to you.

Real stories from dogs and owners whose lives have changed.
"The class was amazing and Nikki is such a good teacher. Mochi felt so happy and settled every time she came. The training was so good and the advice was even better. Mochi is not even 4 months old yet and she's so advanced; it's incredible. We owe it directly to Nikki and her wonderful, calm teaching methods."
"I was at my wits' end with our rescue's reactivity on the lead. Nikki came to us, assessed him with real care, and within three sessions we were walking past other dogs without incident. The WhatsApp support between sessions made all the difference."
"Nikki's patience is extraordinary. Our Spaniel was a whirlwind and couldn't sit still for two seconds. After the puppy package, we have a dog who actually listens. The PDF notes after each session meant we knew exactly what to practise."
From bouncy puppies to dogs with complex behaviour, every dog deserves patient, positive training.

The earlier the better! Puppies are sponges; their critical socialisation window closes around 12–16 weeks, so starting training as soon as they arrive home (even before vaccinations are complete, with appropriate precautions) sets them up brilliantly. Nikki's puppy package is designed for pups from 8 weeks upwards.
Never. Nikki's training is 100% force-free and positive reinforcement based. No shock collars, no prong collars, no physical corrections, and no intimidation. Good choices get rewarded; less desirable choices are simply redirected or ignored. This is not just kinder; it's proven to produce more reliable, long-lasting results.
